While reading this, I thought, "This could be made even better!" however, not wanting to ruin the page, I have decided to make my own version here: MCNS.

Syntax

Syntax is simple. Capital letters represent movement types, and lowercase letters represent movement values.

Specifying Movement Type

Specifying the movement type it easy. Here is a table comparing standard chess pieces in Betza, Ħasínū (Because I have to), and Mocha:

Notes

  1. "Pawns move two on first move" and "en passant" are game rules, not peice rules.
  2. Example: "BaLa1" means a queen that can attack one square in any direction for her move, without moving. "BaLbua1" means a queen that can attack one square in any direction as many times as she desires, AND move.
  3. In Mocha, you cannot specify that the "JRf3l2" only applies if there is a peice in the path
  4. The move was not detailed enough to make a notation for it, my best guess is MRf2.
  5. Rampaging pieces specified in the game rules, not peice rules, therefore the notation is No movement
